You’ll see an EACR Conferences banner displayed outside the entrance to Harnack House. Please make your way towards the registration desk, located in the Planck Lobby.
You can register from 11:30 CET on Tuesday 10 October. Once registered you will be given your conference badge and pocket programme. If you notified us of any dietary requirements, these will be listed on the back of your badge in both English and German. After the conference we will collect your badge for recycling.
You're welcome to leave your coat and luggage in the downstairs cloakroom at Harnack House but please note that this is an unsupervised area and personal items are left there at your own risk.
Poster presenters of posters 01-41 can display their poster on their assigned poster board as soon as they are registered. The boards are spread across The Meitner Saal and Goathe Saal rooms. Please find your designated poster board (the correct poster number will be in the corner of each board) and attach your poster. (Poster presenters for posters 42-82 will be able to put up their posters from 10:45am on Wednesday 11 October).
Please ensure you wear your badge at all times while you're at the conference. After the conference we will collect your badge for recycling.
We encourage you to bring and use your own reusable water bottles and coffee cups at the venue.
We will be providing refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of food during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference. We will also be providing tea and coffee from 08:15am on Wednesday 11 October and Thursday 12 October.
Dietary Requirements (by prior arrangement only): Please identify yourself to the serving staff. Confirmed dietary requirements will be detailed on the reverse of your conference badge.
Tuesday 10 October, 16:30 - 17:15 CEST
Taking place on the first evening, this informal session is designed to give participants an opportunity to make lots of new connections in a short space of time. Invited conference speakers, the EACR and EACR Ambassadors will each host their own table in the Restaurant area of Harnack House. Over two rotations of 20 minutes each, conference participants will be invited to visit tables of their choice, getting the opportunity to meet the conference speakers and organisers plus other attendees. For further details and speaker biographies please see the Pocket Programme.
Wednesday 11 October, 19:15 CEST
The Conference Dinner will be taking place on the final evening of the conference at the onsite Restaurant at Harnack House. If you have already registered for the Conference Dinner, then you should receive a ticket tucked inside the plastic holder of your conference badge. If you expected to have a Conference Dinner ticket but did not receive one, then please come to the EACR Helpdesk during a coffee break.
Entrance will only be permitted to the Conference Dinner with a valid ticket. Please ensure that you bring your ticket with you to the Planck Lobby on the evening of the dinner otherwise you may not be permitted entry. Please arrive at the Planck Lobby at 19:15 for a drink’s reception before the dinner at 19:30.
We’re working to reduce the environmental impact of our conferences, which is why we’re providing as much information as we can digitally. Please note that we are no longer providing notebooks at our conferences.
The pocket programme you’ll receive contains the scientific programme and an index of poster titles. All the speaker and poster abstracts, as well as optional digital posters, are available in our searchable Digital Abstracts and Posters area - it may take a few seconds to load (you will need to be logged-in to view).
We will have a ‘Job and Study Opportunities’ notice board at the conference. If you or your lab/institute has any upcoming job or study opportunities, then please feel free to bring this information with you printed on an A4 sheet. We will add the sheet to the board, so that conference participants are aware of any upcoming opportunities!
