EMBO stands for excellence in the life sciences
EMBO is an organization of more than 1,800 leading researchers that promotes excellence in the life sciences in Europe and beyond. The major goals of the organization are to support talented researchers at all stages of their careers, stimulate the exchange of scientific information, and help build a research environment where scientists can achieve their best work.
National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI)
NCRI is a UK-wide partnership between cancer research funders working together to maximise the value and benefits of cancer research for patients and the public. With a network of over 12,000 researchers, clinicians, patients and others with an interest in cancer research, the NCRI keeps the research community connected and acts as a catalyst for collaboration and high-quality research.
