Members of the Scientific Programme Committee have focussed on providing as much interaction for participants as possible over whole programme. In addition to the main programme there will be ‘Round-table’ and ‘Meet with Industry’ discussion sessions prior to the end of Day 1, which will be in the form of ‘break-out rooms’ in Zoom.
All registered participants will be given the opportunity to sign up for each room with a limit on numbers so that numbers can be evenly spread. These one hour sessions are planned to be very informal and should offer a chance for everyone to ask questions and discuss in a relaxed and unique setting.
• Break-out Room 1 - Chapin Rodriguez
• Break-out Room 2 - Samuel Krahl and Celine Carret
• Break-out Room 3 - Ian Lewis, Geraldine Byrne and Lynn Turner
• Break-out Room 4 - Marta Puyol Escolar and Vaida Bankauskaite
• Break-out Room 5 - EACR Board Member Representatives Caroline Dive (President) and Andreas Trumpp (Member)
• Break-out Room 6 - Margaret Grayson MBE and Amanda McCann
• Break-out Room 7 - Aaron Hannon and Max Williamson
• Break-out Room 8 - Marisol Soengas and Roger Gomis
• Break-out Room 9 - Arkaitz Carracedo and Olaia Naveiras
• Break-out Room 10 - Meet with Industry - Merck - Teresa Dolt, Colette Lipp and Kathrin Glaeser
You might be looking for guidance on figuring out your next steps, making professional connections during and after your studies, or working on communicating your research to broader audiences. This session is an opportunity to ask those types of questions of experts.
Conference participants will be sent a list of the attendees who opted-in to sharing their details. You can use this list to contact fellow conference goers to start a discussion about their presentation, abstract or maybe a question they asked during a talk.
Follow us on Twitter for updates @EACRnews and engage with the conference with #eacrEarlyCareerConference. You could use this to promote your virtual poster, to comment on a talk you enjoyed or to continue the discussion with other participants.
