Networking Opportunities

It is important to the EACR that participants at our conferences are able to discuss, share and create new connections and collaborations. This is a vital aspect of going to any scientific conference, and we aim to create as many opportunities as possible to do this.

Space has been included in the programme to enable plenty of time for the important discussions that occur outside of the lecture theatre. We have also arranged a number of dedicated networking opportunities, detailed below.

Poster Defence Sessions

Wednesday 10 October 13:20-14:50

Thursday 11 October 13:00-14:30

The programme features two 90 minute Poster Defence Sessions which will be an excellent opportunity to present and discuss the latest research. As well as these dedicated sessions, there will be additional opportunities to browse the posters throughout the meeting.

Meet the Expert Lunch

Tuesday 09 October 2018, 13:00 – 14:30

In this relaxed lunchtime session, speakers will be present giving all participants the opportunity to ask questions and make new connections.

Conference Dinner

Wednesday 10 October 2018 at 20:30

The Conference Dinner will take place at Kafe Antzokia’s Restaurant on the final evening of the conference. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. After dinner, we will enjoy music and dancing with a live DJ.

Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and can be selected as an optional extra for only €37.

Due to the size of the restaurant, spaces are limited. The evening is expected to be a sell out, so make sure that you buy your ticket when registering!
