OECI Meeting Bursaries

Application deadline: 30 January 2017

At least five awards will be offered to selected applicants working in OECI member institutes. Click here to check if your institute is an OECI member institute.

The awards provide a full registration free of charge and funds of up to €500 to support travel only. Participants must meet the cost of accommodation from their own funds.

Applicants for the award are asked to include a recent CV with a list of their most important publications from the last 5 years. Please also declare the name of the Director and full address of the OECI institute applied from. Applications must be sent to oeci@oeci.eu.

The OECI will inform all successful applicants as soon as possible after the closing date.

EACR Meeting Bursaries

Application deadline: 20 January 2017

Five bursaries will be awarded to assist members of the European Association for Cancer Research to attend the conference and present their work as an oral or poster presentation. Each EACR Meeting Bursary includes a free registration and funds of up to €500 to support travel costs.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have held a valid membership of the EACR for at least three months prior to the application deadline.
• Only members who are PhD students or who completed their PhD (or equivalent degree) less than four years ago are eligible to apply. Exceptions may be made in the case of researchers who have had a professional break, such as illness or parental leave.
• Applicants must not have received any other EACR Meeting Bursaries within the past 12 months.
