Meeting Bursary Awards

Due to the high calibre of applications for an EFIS-EJI Meeting Bursary Award to support attendance at Defence is the Best Attack 2017, we are pleased to announce that the EACR and Worldwide Cancer Research have funded an additional four awards to increase the number of bursaries provided.

Five bursaries will be awarded to assist early-career scientists to attend the conference and present their work as an oral or poster presentation. Each EFIS-EJI Meeting Bursary includes a free registration and funds of up to €500 to support travel and accommodation costs.

Eligibility

Only early-career scientists who are PhD students or who completed their PhD (or equivalent degree) less than four years ago are eligible to apply. Exceptions may be made in the case of researchers who have had a professional break, such as illness or parental leave.
