At the EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well-known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction and discussion. Solo Travellers' Meet-up

Tuesday 03 November 2026, 14:50-15:20

We know that many of our participants are solo travellers and it can sometimes be a bit difficult to settle into the conference ‘vibe’ after a long day of travelling. We know exactly how that feels after our own travelling experiences so if you fancy meeting up with like-minded people, please meet up by the EACR Conference Banner after grabbing a coffee and a snack. This is not a structured event, just an informal opportunity for you to meet other participants who have travelled solo for a chat. 

Networking Session 1

Tuesday 03 November 2026, 17:00-17:30

Taking place on the first evening of the conference, we will hold an informal networking session which will give participants the opportunity to make lots of new connections in a short space of time. Full details will be confirmed very soon!

Welcome Reception

Tuesday 03 November 2026, 17:00-17:30

A light buffet will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy on Tuesday evening. Why not take the opportunity to make new connections in an informal setting! The trade exhibition will be open at this time, and there is the opportunity to continue networking and view posters during Poster Discussion Session 1, which will start at 18:15.

Poster Discussion Sessions

Tuesday 03 November 2026, 18:15–19:45
Wednesday 04 November 2026, 13:30–15:00

There are two dedicated 90-minute Poster Discussion Sessions in the programme. At these times, the presenters for that session should stand by their posters to discuss their work with other participants and invited speakers. As well as the dedicated sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, there will also be additional poster viewing opportunities each morning from 08:15 where posters can be freely browsed. 

Networking Session 2

Wednesday 04 November 2026, 18:00–18:30

To close the second evening of the conference, we will hold another networking session. Full details will be confirmed very soon!

Exhibition

11:30 Tuesday 03 November 2026 – 10:45 Thursday 05 November 2026

Alongside fantastic scientific content, this conference will feature a small industry exhibition held within the poster area. The exhibition is an opportunity for researchers and companies working in fields relevant to the conference topic to connect and network. Conference Dinner

Wednesday 04 November 2026, 19:30 (Optional ticketed event)

The Conference Dinner will take place on the final night of the meeting. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. The three-course dinner will take place onsite, in the atmospheric Harnack House restaurant from 19:30.

Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and can be selected as an optional extra for only €70.

Spaces are limited and the evening is expected to be a sell out, so make sure that you buy your ticket when registering!
