Oxford, UK : 5 - 7 July 2022
At EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction and discussion. Here are some of the features you can look forward to at Cancer Genomics 2022.
Tuesday 05 July, 16:45-17:15
This will be an informal session hosted by our speaker Prof Mireia Crispin-Ortuzar, from the University of Cambridge, who will be sharing her personal and professional experiences of her path to scientific leadership.
This interactive session will be a great opportunity to gain insight and advice from one of our outstanding line-up of speakers!
Tuesday 05 July 2022 17:15 – 18:15
A welcome drinks reception will be held on Tuesday evening to give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A light buffet will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy. The trade exhibition will be open at this time, and there is the opportunity to continue networking and view posters.
Tuesday 05 July, 18:15-19:45
Wednesday 06 July, 13:25 – 14:55
There are two dedicated 90-minute Poster Discussion Sessions in the programme. At these times, the presenters for that session should stand by their posters to discuss their work with other participants and invited speakers. As well as the dedicated sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, there will also be additional poster viewing opportunities each morning from 08.15 where posters can be freely browsed.
Wednesday 06 July, 17:25 -18:25
This informal session will be a fantastic opportunity for participants to interact with our esteemed Scientific Programme Committee:
Carlos Caldas, Cancer Research UK, Cambridge, UK
James Brenton, Cancer Research UK, Cambridge, UK
Elaine Mardis, Institute for Genomic Medicine, Columbus, USA
Yardena Samuels, Weizmann Institute, Rehovot, Israel
The committee members will reflect on the conference so far before each providing insight into their personal and professional experiences of their routes into scientific leadership.
Wednesday 06 July, 19:30
The Conference Dinner will take place at the conference venue's own restaurant ‘Taylors Yard’ on the final evening of the conference. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment.
