COVID-19

You can find the latest COVID-19 guidance for the conference here.

We aim to protect the health of all participants, their contacts and the wider public. If you test positive for COVID-19, do not travel to the conference. If you are unable to attend due to testing positive for COVID-19, we will refund your registration fee. 

We strongly recommend that participants wear a mask or face covering while inside the building. Please bring your own masks or face coverings. We will have a limited supply of disposable masks should you need them onsite.

Arrival at the venue

You’ll see an EACR Conferences banner displayed just outside the entrance to the venue, the John Henry Brookes Building at Oxford Brookes University’s Headington Campus. The registration desk will be signposted as you enter.

You can register from 12:00 BST on Tuesday 05 July to collect your name badge and pocket programme. Please ensure you wear your badge at all times while you're at the conference and especially if you are registered for the Conference Dinner. After the conference we will collect your badge for recycling.

We will have a lockable room close to the registration desk where you can store luggage/coats. EACR staff will be able to escort you to this room upon arrival if you need to store any personal items here. Please note that although this room will be kept locked, items are left at your own risk.

Poster presenters can display their poster on their assigned poster board as soon as they are registered.

Refreshments

You are welcome to use your own reusable water bottles and coffee cups at the venue.

We will be providing refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of sandwiches and snacks during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference. Should you wish to purchase your own food during the conference then there are also many shops and food outlets on campus. Please note that the campus can only accept card and not notes/coins.

Dietary requirements (by prior arrangment only): Please identify yourself to the serving staff. Confirmed dietary requirements will be detailed on the reverse of your conference badge.

The Conference Dinner is sold out. If you have already booked your place at the conference dinner then this will be hosted at “Taylor’s Yard” restaurant, onsite at the conference venue.

Digital Abstracts and Posters

The pocket programme you'll receive contains the scientific programme and an index of poster titles. All the speaker and poster abstracts, as well as optional digital posters, are available in our searchable Digital Abstracts and Posters.

Click here to access the Digital Abstracts and Posters from 01 July onwards. You will need to log in using your EACR membership or EACR Meetings account details.

Notebooks

We're working to reduce the environmental impact of our conferences, which is why we're providing as much information as we can digitally. Please note that we will not be providing notebooks so if you’d like to take notes, please bring your own!
