Lyon, France : 12 - 14 November 2024
At the EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well-known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction and discussion. Here are some of the features you can look forward to at the EACR conference on Liquid Biopsies.
Tuesday 13 November 14:35 - 15:05
We know that many of our participants are solo travellers and it can sometimes be a bit difficult to settle into the conference ‘vibe’ after a long day of travelling. We know exactly how that feels after our own travelling experiences so if you fancy meeting up with like-minded people, please meet up by the EACR Conference Banner at the registration desk after grabbing a coffee and a snack. This is not a structured event, just an informal opportunity for you to meet other participants who have travelled solo for a chat.
Tuesday 13 November 17:20 - 18:15
A complimentary buffet dinner will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy on Tuesday evening. Why not take the opportunity to make new connections in an informal setting! The trade exhibition will be open at this time, and Poster Discussion Session 1 will follow at 18:15.
Tuesday 12 November, 18:25-19:55
Wednesday 13 November, 13:40-15:10
There are two dedicated 90-minute Poster Discussion Sessions in the programme. At these times, the presenters for that session should stand by their posters to discuss their work with other participants and invited speakers. As well as the dedicated sessions, there are also additional poster viewing opportunities at the beginning of each day when posters can be freely browsed.
Tuesday 12 November, 16:55 - 17:25
This informal and interactive session will be a great opportunity for participants to gain insight and advice from three of our outstanding speakers: An Hendrix, Valsamo Anagnostou and Shang Cai.
In a session chaired by Nicola Aceto, An, Valsamo and Shang will briefly summarise their research interests and major contributions to their fields before the floor is opened up to questions from delegates. What are the next big questions in the diverse fields of extracellular vesicles, monitoring response and resistance to immunotherapy through liquid biopsy, and tumor-resident intracellular microbiota and metastasis? What are our speakers' visions for addressing them?

Alongside fantastic scientific content, this conference will feature a small industry exhibition held within the poster area. The exhibition is an opportunity for researchers and companies working in fields relevant to the conference topic to connect and network. Visit the stands during the programme breaks and meet friendly product experts to find out how they can help with your current or upcoming projects. Discover which companies will be attending and plan your visits here: www.eacr.org/conference/liquidbiopsies2024/partners-sponsors
