At the EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well-known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction and discussion. Networking Quiz

Tuesday 30 April, 17:10 - 17:40

Taking place on the first evening of the conference, this informal session will give participants an opportunity to make lots of new connections in a short space of time. Particpants will join together to complete our networking quiz, designed with the intention of encouraging discussion and further questions which can be carried into the welcome reception and beyond!

Welcome Reception

Tuesday 30 April 17:40-18:20

A complimentary light buffet will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy on Tuesday evening. Why not take the opportunity to make new connections in an informal setting! The trade exhibition will be open at this time, and Poster Discussion Session 1 will follow at 18:20.

Meet the Scientific Programme Committee

This informal session will be a fantastic opportunity for participants to interact with our esteemed Scientific Programme Committee:

The committee members will reflect on the conference so far before each providing insight into their personal and professional experiences of their routes into scientific leadership.

Poster Discussion Sessions

Tuesday 30 April, 18:20-19:50
Wednesday 01 May, 13:30-15:00

There are two dedicated 90-minute Poster Discussion Sessions in the programme. At these times, the presenters for that session should stand by their posters to discuss their work with other participants and invited speakers. As well as the dedicated sessions, there are also additional poster viewing opportunities at the beginning of each day when posters can be freely browsed.

Conference Dinner

Wednesday 01 May 2024, 19:30 CEST (Optional ticketed event)

The Conference Dinner will take place on the final night of the meeting at the atmospheric Ristorante Taverna Valtellinese, a short walk from the conference venue. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and can be purchased on the registration page as an optional extra.

Directions from the conference venue

It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the conference venue to the dinner venue. Head north-west on Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII, turn left onto Largo Porta Nuova which becomes Via G. Tiraboschi. The entrance to the Taverna is just down the side street called Passeggiata Zeduri.
