Arrival at The Euskalduna Conference Centre

Please make your way to Entrance 1 (Entrada 1) when you arrive at the venue. You will see a digital Cancer Metabolism banner displayed above this entrance. You will easily notice the registration desk as you enter the building. You can register from 11:30 CEST on Tuesday 06 October. Once registered you will be given your conference badge and pocket programme. If you notified us of any dietary requirements, these will be listed on the back of your badge in both English and Spanish. Please ensure you always wear your name badge while you're at the conference. After the conference we will collect your badge for recycling.

You are welcome to leave your coat and luggage in the luggage storage area located close to the registration desk, but please note that this is an unsupervised area and personal items are left there at your own risk.

Poster presenters of poster numbers 1 - 108 can display their poster on their assigned board as soon as they are registered. The boards are 100cm wide by 145cm tall (portrait) and posters should be no larger than 90cm wide by 140cm tall (portrait). Please find your designated poster board (the correct poster number will be in the corner of each board) and attach your poster. Poster presenters of poster numbers 109 - 217 can display their posters on their assigned boards from the morning coffee break on Wednesday 07 October (10:45-11:15). Materials to attach your poster will be provided for you.

Solo travellers

If you are a solo traveller, attending the conference on your own, then please feel free to join us at the EACR Banner near the EACR Registration Desk during the afternoon coffee break on Day 1 (between 14:55 – 15:25) to connect with fellow solo attendees. Our friendly EACR staff and Ambassadors will be on hand to assist you, answer questions and offer insights into local dining spots and noteworthy attractions.

Refreshments 

We will be providing light refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of food during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference.

Dietary Requirements (by prior arrangement only): Please identify yourself to the serving staff. Confirmed dietary requirements will be detailed on the reverse of your conference badge.

Welcome Reception

Tuesday 06 October, 17:20 – 18:15

Taking place on the first evening in the catering areas at the venue, our welcome reception will give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A light buffet and welcome drinks will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy.

Conference Dinner – Wednesday 07 October (20:00 CEST)

The Conference Dinner will take place at Kafe Antzokia’s Restaurant on the final evening of the conference. It will be an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. After dinner, we will enjoy music and dancing with a live DJ.

Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and are available to select as an optional extra.

Entrance will only be permitted to the Conference Dinner with a valid ticket. Please ensure that you bring your ticket with you to the Kafe Antzokia on the evening of the dinner otherwise you may not be permitted entry.

Please arrive at 19:55 to be seated for the 20:00 start.

We’re working to reduce the environmental impact of our conferences, which is why we’re providing as much information as we can digitally. Please note that we are no longer providing notebooks at our conferences.

The pocket programme you’ll receive contains the scientific programme and an index of poster titles. All the speaker and poster abstracts, as well as optional digital posters, are available in our searchable Digital Abstracts and Posters area (online from Friday 02 October 2026).
