Please enter through the Messe West entrance of Messe Essen GmbH, which is at Messehaus WEST, Messeplatz 1, 45131 Essen, Germany.

Follow the ‘EACR Conference’ signs as you enter the conference centre on the ground floor and use the escalator to travel to the first floor. The EACR registration desk will be at the top of the escalator on the first floor. You can register from 11:30 CEST on Tuesday 12 May. Once registered you will be given your conference badge and pocket programme.
If you notified us of any dietary requirements, these will be listed on the back of your badge in both English and German. Please ensure you always wear your name badge while you're at the conference.
You are welcome to leave your coat and luggage in the cloakroom located in the entrance foyer on the ground floor, but please note that this is an unsupervised area and personal items are left there at your own risk.
Poster presenters of poster numbers 1-52 can display their poster on their assigned board as soon as they are registered. The boards are 122cm wide by 190cm tall (portrait) and posters should be no larger than 100cm wide by 150cm tall (portrait). Please find your designated poster board (the correct poster number will be in the corner of each board) and attach your poster. Poster presenters of poster numbers 53-105 can display their posters on their assigned boards from the morning coffee break on Wednesday 13 May (10:45 – 11:15). Materials to attach your poster will be provided for you.

If you are a solo traveller, attending the conference on your own, then please feel free to join us at the EACR Banner near the registration desk during the break on Day 1 (between 14:50 – 15:20) to connect with fellow solo attendees. Our friendly EACR staff and Ambassadors will be on hand to assist you, answer questions and offer insights into local dining spots and noteworthy attractions.

We will be providing light refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of food during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference.
Dietary Requirements (by prior arrangement only): Please identify yourself to the serving staff. Confirmed dietary requirements will be detailed on the reverse of your conference badge.
Tuesday 12 May, 17:00 – 18:00
Taking place on the first evening in the poster and catering areas at the venue, our welcome reception will give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A light buffet and welcome drinks will be served for all participants and exhibitors to enjoy.
Wednesday 13 May (20:00 CEST)
The Conference Dinner will be taking place on the final evening of the conference in the Kiepenkerl restaurant, a short distance away from the conference venue by public transport. If you have already registered for the Conference Dinner, this will be listed on your conference badge. If you expected to attend the Conference Dinner but this is not indicated on your badge, please come to the EACR registration desk during a coffee break.
It is important that you bring your participant badge with you to the Kiepenkerl otherwise you may not be permitted entry.
Please arrive from 19:50 and no later than 19:55.
