Our perception of aging has shifted from an inevitable pace of overall functional decline to a biological process amenable of genetic and pharmacological manipulation, with potential health-promoting interventions against aging-related diseases. The scope of this conference aims at getting an integrative view of aging by putting together different fields and disciplines working on different aspects of research on aging.
