Brain metastasis is an unmet clinical need affecting 10-30% of cancer patients. Although considered an end-stage of cancer, recent therapeutic resources together with better clinical management has demonstrated that basic and clinical research could benefit this increasing group of patients. The aim of the symposium is to bring together a panel of internationally recognized basic, translational and clinical researchers in the field to discuss the latest advancements in the biology of brain metastases and the therapeutic implications of these advancements. The ultimate goal is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and importantly, to foster new collaborations to advance the field. The preliminary program can be seen here.
