The webinar's time zone will be based on the speaker (or at the discretion of the organiser when there are multiple speakers). The time zone code (i.e. BST or CEST) will always be shown on the webinar registration webpage and on your joining instructions email.
As EACR webinars are intended for specific audiences, for example EACR Members, Student Members or Ambassadors, we will manually check and approve each registration. You will not receive an email while your registration is pending.
After we have reviewed and approved your webinar registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing the joining instructions for the event. Please note that this email will come directly from Zoom and not from an EACR email address, for example no-reply@zoom.us. These emails can sometimes end up in your junk or spam folder. Please check these and if you have still not received a confirmation email 24 hours before the event, please contact us, including in your email the event you have registered for.
If the webinar is full there will be a small message at the bottom of the page that says 'This webinar is already at capacity'. Unfortunately this means that the option to register is not available. If there are spaces you will see large boxes for you to fill in your details.
If spaces become available i.e. someone unregisters because they aren't able to attend, the option to register will be visible again on the registration webpage. You can check this periodically to see if space is available or you could try just before the start of the event. Please do not email us to request a space as waiting lists will not be available.
All virtual EACR events will be recorded. Selected talks approved for publication by Speakers will be made available to EACR Members to view in the members' area. Log in through the Member Login link and you can find the video archive within the Member Resources.
All ‘Meet the Expert’ and ‘How To…’ webinars will be available to view in the EACR Members Area. We aim to make these available the week after the event.
A number of webinars, talks and sessions will be made freely available (to non-members), and you can find these on the EACRvideos YouTube channel.
As spaces are limited for EACR virtual events, if you know you will not be able to attend we would appreciate if you could unregister to allow someone else the chance to participate. You can unregister from your confirmation email or contact us. In your message, please include the details of the event from which you want to unregister.
