Postdoctoral Scientist – Cell Signalling Group, CRUK Manchester Institute, Manchester, UK

Postdoctoral position

Salary in the range of £31,604 - £41,929 (dependent upon qualifications and experience)

About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Cell Signalling laboratory of Prof. Angeliki Malliri aiming to identify novel molecular targets for KRAS mutant non-small cell lung cancer, the most common subtype of this cancer, by discovering and contrasting signalling events associated with particular mutant alleles of KRAS. In addition the role will involve examining resistance mechanisms to novel agents targeting KRAS.

About you:

You should have a PhD in molecular and cellular biology along with a knowledge of the essentials of biochemistry and genetics. A background in bioinformatics and in vivo models of cancer is desirable but not essential.
