Postdoctoral position

The position can be awarded for up to two years. The group aims at identifying biomarkers which are related to response to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and survival in colorectal cancer patients. And we also work on colorectal cancer cell lines and zebrafish in order to understand the mechanisms involved in therapy-induced cell death or resistance. These studies will provide information for selecting patients for more suitable therapies in the future. 

We are looking for highly motivated scientists with a strong interest in experimental cancer research and a degree in bioinformatics, (molecular) biology, biochemistry, or medicine. The position provides the opportunity for considerable innovation in a translational research field at the interface of cell biology, radiation biology, and experimental oncology.

The applicants should have a good knowledge on bioinformatical/statistical analysis (especially for bioinformatian) and practical expertise of patient material, culturing cells and molecular biology techniques and statistical analysis.
