The Nwosu lab has positions for two postdoctoral associates. Applicants should be enthusiastic about conducting research on cancer metabolism and specifically on delineating the role of glutathione (GSH) in pancreatic cancer. The project has various multidisciplinary contexts including a link to the tumor microenvironment/immunology, tumor subtypes, transcriptional and epigenetic regulation as well as therapeutic resistance. The project will require the use of cell lines and mouse models to mechanistically determine how GSH promotes cancer and the effect of targeting the GSH pathway on tumor growth. The successful applicants will have access to various already existing data that will ensure a smooth commencement of the project. Besides research, the applicants will be encouraged to participate in career development activities within and outside the university. Salaries are set at the NIH rate. For more details, follow the application link provided.
