Virtual event, Worldwide : 16 - 17 February 2021
eLife is a non-profit organisation created by funders and led by researchers. Our mission is to accelerate discovery by operating a platform for research communication that encourages and recognises the most responsible behaviours. We work across three major areas: publishing, technology and research culture. We aim to publish work of the highest standards and importance in all areas of biology and medicine, while exploring creative new ways to improve how research is assessed and published. Fully open-access, eLife complies with all major funding agency requirements for immediate online access to the published results of their research grants.
We aim to publish significant translational research and clinical studies focused on improving human health. Our interests include, but are not limited to, the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, genetics, prevention, and treatment of human disorders, as well as the biological, environmental and socioeconomic determinants of health which lead to changes in medical practice, population health and health policy.
To highlight recent advances in the mechanistic understanding of the immune response to cancer cells and new discoveries that relate to therapeutic interventions, eLife is pleased to share a Special Issue devoted to this exciting topic. This issue presents a collection of highly influential research selected for publication by a specially convened group of experts led by Reviewing Editor Jeff Settleman.
