COVID-19 

We aim to protect the health of all participants, their contacts and the wider public. If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not travel to the conference. We strongly recommend that you check the guidelines available from the Ministerio de Sanidad ahead of travelling.  

Arrival at the Venue 

You will see an EACR banner displayed just outside the entrance to the Euskalduna Conference Centre. The registration desk will be immediately on your left as you enter.  

Registration opens at 12:00 on Tuesday 11 October. The main queue will split into three based on surnames once you are inside the conference centre. To ensure you are registered as efficiently as possible, please look at the signs and join the correct queue. 

Once registered you will be given your conference badge and pocket programme. If you have registered any dietary requirements with us, these will be listed on the back of your badge in both English and Spanish. 

Poster presenters (1-78) can display their poster on their assigned poster board as soon as they are registered.  

Please ensure that you always wear your badge while you’re at the conference, and after the event we will collect your badge and lanyard for recycling.  

WiFi Access 

Free WiFi is available at the Euskalduna Conference Centre with the following details.

Refreshments 

We encourage you to bring and use your own reusable water bottles at the venue.  

We will be providing refreshments during our designated Coffee Breaks as well as providing a selection of food during the lunch breaks on Day 1 and Day 2 of the conference.  

Conference Dinner 

The conference dinner is now sold out.  

If you have already registered for the conference dinner, then you should receive a ticket with your conference badge. If you expected to have a conference dinner ticket but did not receive one then please come to the EACR Helpdesk during a coffee break.  

Entrance will only be permitted to the conference dinner with a valid ticket. Please ensure that you bring your ticket with you to the restaurant otherwise you may not be permitted entry.  

Please arrive at 19:30. Participants will be seated by 19:50 and dinner will be served at 20:00.  

Solo Travellers’ Meeting Point and Table 

If you are travelling on your own to the conference, keep an eye out for our solo travellers’ meeting point and table. This is a place to meet, leave messages for, and establish connections with other researchers. 

Digital Abstracts and Posters 

We’re working to reduce the environmental impact of our conferences, which is why we’re providing as much information as we can digitally. Please note that we are no longer providing notebooks at our conferences.  

The pocket programme you’ll receive contains the scientific programme and an index of poster titles. All the speaker and poster abstracts, as well as optional digital posters, are available in our searchable Digital Abstracts and Posters.
