Cambridge, UK : 23 - 26 June 2019
At the EACR, we know that conferences are about more than just hearing the latest research. Our events are well-known for providing excellent opportunities for networking, interaction and discussion.
We anticipate that the conference will have a residential feel, with most participants staying at Churchill College or nearby. Space has been included in the programme to enable plenty of time for the important discussions that occur outside of the lecture theatre. Here are a few of the features you can look forward to at Cancer Genomics 2019.

Sunday 23 June 18.00
Following the Keynote Lecture, there will be a drinks reception to give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. A complimentary two course dinner will then be served in the dining hall, and the college bar will be open into the evening for discussions to be continued.
Monday 24 June, 13.45-15.15
Tuesday 25 June, 14.00-15.30
Lively Poster Discussion Sessions are a fixture at meetings in the EACR Conference Series. As well as the dedicated sessions on Monday and Tuesday, there will be additional poster viewing opportunities at the beginning of each day where posters can be freely browsed.
Monday 24 June, 16.45-17.30
"What is the perfect biomarker for response to immune checkpoint blockade therapy?"
Chaired by Prof. Caldas, this session will be led by Prof. Swanton and Dr. Wargo and will be a forum for open discussion. Participants are encouraged to ask their questions to contribute to the debate on “what is the perfect biomarker for response to immune checkpoint blockade therapy?”
Wednesday 26 June, 09.00-09.40
An interactive session where our speakers Prof. Caldas and Prof. Samuels will share from their personal and professional perspectives on the path to scientific leadership. There will be a chance to ask your questions.
Tuesday 25 June at 19.30, Churchill College
All participants are invited to join the formal three course Conference Dinner on Tuesday evening which will be followed by the presentation of Meeting Bursary award certificates and Poster Prizes. We hope that during the evening new friendships will be made and professional connections will continue to flourish.
Tickets for the conference dinner are included in the registration fee.
