How do we communicate with our members?

This is an overview of all the ways EACR communicates information to our members. If you wish to contact the EACR Secretariat, please visit the ‘Contact us’ page.

News

Website news section
The news page on the EACR website is home to both EACR news and more general cancer research news. It is regularly updated and can be checked from the EACR website and also via RSS feed (see below for details).

Emails

Email news bulletins
Sent to EACR members approximately every two (2) weeks, the e-news bulletin contains all the latest important announcements of interest to our members. This includes meeting announcements, abstract deadlines, latest jobs and travel fellowship and meeting bursary deadlines.

If you are an EACR member and do not receive the regular e-news bulletin please contact eacr@nottingham.ac.uk and we will check your member details. Otherwise, please add kathryn@eacr.ccsend.com to your ‘Safe list’ or email contacts as junk email filters could be the problem.

Twitter

Twitter
Twitter is a micro-blogging site. EACR uses Twitter to communicate short, timely updates about the most important deadlines, meetings and news items.

To follow @EACRnews on Twitter, click here: http://twitter.com/#!/EACRnews.

RSS

RSS feeds
RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’. It enables you to receive automatic notifications when we post new news items, meetings and job and study opportunities on the EACR website.

The three EACR RSS feeds you can follow are:

RSS News items

RSS Scientific meetings

RSS Job and study opportunities
