Barcelona, Spain : 9 - 11 October 2017
It is important to the EACR that participants at our conferences are able to discuss, share and create new connections and collaborations. This is a vital aspect of going to any scientific conference, and we aim to create as many opportunities as possible to do this.
Space has been included in the programme to enable plenty of time for the important discussions that occur outside of the lecture theatre. We have also arranged a number of dedicated networking opportunities which are detailed below.
Monday 09 October, 18:30-19:15
Following the Keynote Lecture, there will be a reception with drinks and canapés to give participants the opportunity to meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends. Poster Session 1 will follow at 19:15.
Tuesday 10 October, 17:15-18:00
These sessions allow participants and speakers to converse informally in smaller groups. Participants are free to ask any questions they like and to move freely between the tables of different speakers. Refreshments will be served.
Tuesday 10 October, 19:30
The conference dinner is an excellent opportunity for participants and speakers to get to know each other in a relaxed and informal environment. The dinner will take place at El Principal del Eixample and will consist of three courses along with wine and coffee.
Tickets for the conference dinner are not included in the registration fee and can be selected as an optional extra for €57. Places for the conference dinner are limited and participants are encouraged to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
